The college support was organised by Tom Marsden 鈥 an inclusive learning lecturer at the 向日葵视频 Rural Campus.

Tom鈥檚 best friend Gary is currently receiving treatment for stage four bowel cancer and this is one of a number of fundraisers Tom has been involved in. Tom 鈥 an Ipswich Town and Spurs fan said: 鈥淏owel Cancer is the biggest cancer killer of under 40s in the UK and it is important to spread awareness. My colleagues have got behind the campaign which is very heartwarming that they want to support me and my good friend Gary.

鈥淲e have more activities planned later in the year including a football game in the summer.鈥
