Are you 16 – 24, based in ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ and feeling stuck or unsure of your next steps? Thrive can help by giving you the tailored support and skills you need to take your next step towards employment, education, or training.

Job or training ready?

Our approachable Thrive Progression Coaches, based at the three colleges across ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ, are ready to help you explore employment, training or education opportunities. They will offer support, skills, information and advice to help you take a positive step towards employment – we want everyone we support to thrive.

Thrive Coaches will have an initial chat with you to see what help you would like.

How can I access support?

Support can include:

  • Drop-in sessions, jobs clubs and other friendly support events
  • CV writing and interview skills
  • Training and work experience opportunities
  • Careers, job search and training advice
  • Signposting to other support

You can access support from:

ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ New College (South East and Mid ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ including Ipswich)

East Coast College (North East ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ including Lowestoft)

West ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ College (Mid ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ and West ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ including Bury St Edmunds)

Thrive: a partnership programme

Thrive is led by ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ New College and is in its third year of delivery.  Thrive for Young People offers a personal development service led by Inspire ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ, with additional activity packages from Lofty Heights.

ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ New College, East Coast College and West ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ College offer Progression Coach services for those who are ready to explore employment and training opportunities.

Thrive is funded by ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ County Council.  The first two years were funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund on behalf of the ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ Local Authorities: Babergh and Mid ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ Councils, East ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ Council, Ipswich Borough Council, West ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ Council and ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓÆµ County Council.
